Having studied Graphic Design (BA Hons) at Birmingham Art School I went on to have twenty year experience in the design industry for both client and agency side for names such as John Lewis, Waitrose, Asda, Wilkinsons, Sainsbury’s and Boots. Having professionally ‘cut my teeth’ with John Lewis I had brilliant training in how to do things properly, professionally and strategically. Dealing with all levels of the business, including CEO and Chairman, my ability to deal with all levels and in my area of expertise was the best I could have hoped for as a young graduate. 

Moving from London to Leeds, principally for family reasons, was a big move up North. Working for ASDA was a great opportunity to work fast and furious in the value end of retail. Delivery big food and gifting ranges quickly became the norm, managing high volume at rapid pace. Within 3 years I was responsible for delivery half Asda own label packaging requirements briefing out and managing through 6 design agencies. 

In August 2000 I moved to Watt International away from project management and back to design and presentation. With 4 years at Watt (now Sun Branding), a couple of years for JUNC and 18 months at Storm Brand Design I had 7 years agency side of retail. Although I enjoyed working with Sainsbury’s, Burgess Pet Care, Halfords, Charles Worthingtons, Boots etc, I much preferred the client side.

For the past 15 years I have worked across photography, video, design and marketing and have built up a varied and well established client base including manufacturers, financial services, law firms, charity organisations and small/medium enterprises. The combination of creative passion, attention to detail, great client services, technical expertise and flexibility has enabled me to establish a solid reputation and client base. 

My service to deliver most forms of media across all platforms and social media channels for marketing departments and managers means that I can deliver a unique mix of marketing to help get you noticed. 

As part of a continued all round creative service I deliver work for a number of third sector and charity organisations. Social enterprise, good causes and community projects are a huge interest of mine and so pleased to be able to work with so many fantastic people. 

Currently I am working with Community Learning Partnerships (Harehills) and Maecare (Alwoodley) two great organisations whose work continues to help improve the lives of so many across the region.
